Bryan is a Program Officer with The Center at Sierra Health Foundation, focusing on the San Joaquin Valley Health Fund. His passion for civic engagement was inspired by his family’s resilience and the organizing history of his hometown, Delano. After college, Bryan actively engaged in local politics and efforts to enhance community involvement in the Southern San Joaquin Valley.
His diverse experience includes serving as a Field Fellow for ACLU Northern California in Kings County, acting as a Community Solutions Advocate for Community Water Center in Tulare County, and fulfilling roles as a Delano City Council Member and Mayor in Kern County.
As a first-generation student, Bryan graduated with a double major in Political Science and Cognitive Science from UC Berkeley. He later pursued a Master of Public Policy from USC Sol Price School of Public Policy, emphasizing the importance of financial education and impactful public policy.
